One of my favorite things is to watch people with exemplary skills perform. On my first trip to Jazz Fest in New Orleans, I stood no more than 5 feet from Wynton Marsalis and marveled at his skills with the trumpet. When coaching at West Point, I was always amazed at the rigor of military training and discipline by the Corps of Cadets. One of the masters I am now watching is Ron Johnson, the new CEO at JC Penney.

7 Things Highly Productive People Do
Hello Qclipers! We have been rushing to try and get one last issue out before the end of the year and as you can imagine it has not been easy given the “holiday crunch”. Clients want to get many settled before the Christmas / New Years week and many of us at QuantumMethod take our vacation time during that week as well. So, needles to say it has been a challenge. But, we did it!! I confess that I had a another topic in mind with more depth, but there is simply no time for meet to write it, so I will save it for January.

From products and fashion to healthcare, government, and now business management. Americans are finally realizing what the Dutch and Germans have always known: design is the key to just about everything in our lives… Our companies will continue to prosper only if they push to the higher ground of innovating and creating elegant, refined products and services which might well be produced elsewhere.
Toastmasters
Recently I joined the local chapter of Toastmasters and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Toastmasters it is a leadership and communications skills development group that has been around since the 1920’s…The whole thing is similar in to a writing workshop where the group members evaluate each others performances. While this sounds rather dull, let me assure you it is really a great time and extremely valuable.
