Funny you should mention this, I just received the new JC Penney catalog a few days ago and marveled at its new design. It easily fits in with premium retailers like JCrew, Banana Republic, etc. I set it aside for our "good design" samples precisely as an example of how design can make all the difference in our perceptions.

Dave S. and I sit on the Board of Regents of La Salle High School together. I think he is one of the most intelligent, brightest men around. Collectively, your firm must be awesome. I really enjoy your qclips - they are human and things we can use in everyday life. Keep up the good work. Yolanda

Oh so true. Go visit: JAMS, ADR Services, and all of the various offices of dispute resolution services. There are candies, sweets, soft drinks, fresh baked cookies, everywhere. Remember though... sugar occurs naturally in many forms, and fruit can offer the same mind-altering acquiescent state without as much of the high-fructose intake.

Hi Dave

I enjoy the Q Clips. Your back of business card struck a cord with me. I help my clients find money they are transferring away and are not aware they are making these wealth transfers. We then take the transferred dollars and help them aquire the needed life and disability insurance they want but can't find the money.

To help them see the great need for income replacement, I take MY business card from my pocket, place it face down in front of my client. I then hand him or her my pen and say, "please write the name of the person who will pay you an income if you become sick or hurt and can't work." They look at me and at the card, and always say, "there is no one who would pay me an income if I became sick or hurt and couln't work." I then say, "now turn the card over. That's who will pay you the income you need if you're sick or hurt and can't work." This paints a vivid word picture of why having adequate income replacement is so vital.
