Live Wrinkle Free!

How do you look good at the end of a long day? Once upon a time I traveled over 175,000 air miles in one year. I am happy to say I don’t do that anymore. But, looking sharp at the end of the day is still a challenge whether in the office or on the road. While many folks, including our own George Tierney, may think the breakthrough product of the decade is the iPhone, I say it’s the Non-Iron Dress Shirt from Brooks Brothers.

Facebook Passes Yahoo. Is Google Next?

It’s official — social media is no longer a fad. There are several reasons that underline the fact that social media is now a full-fledged aspect of our personal and working lives. The most striking is that Facebook surpassed Yahoo’s traffic in January, drawing 133.62 million unique visitors (leaving Yahoo behind at 132 million). This leaves Facebook second to only Google. And, if you think Google isn’t concerned, you’re fooling yourself (can anyone say Google Buzz??).

Irresistible Principles of Fun

Got fun? I will go out on a limb and speak for all of you: probably not so much. I spend most of my waking hours working and complaining about my commute, relatives, weight, negative bank balance, and untrained dogs, just to name a few. You betcha I need more fun in my life and I’m guessing you do too.

In the Blink of an Eye

I recently came across a review about a new fundraising book that suggests that matching a donor’s body language, including the rate at which they blink their eyes, can help fundraisers develop better rapport with major donors. If you are interested in fine tuning the way you make your case with donors, I suggest you put the blinking aside for just a moment and visit one of my favorite websites.
